Designed by Hans Verstuyft, the Austere Chandelier composes slender metallic rods and precisely positioned LED light elements into an exceptionally reduced geometric structure, available in brass, black, gunmetal, bronze and nickel finishes. Conceived as a modular lighting system rather than a conventional chandelier, its branching X and Y configurations can be combined at different levels and proportions to create restrained linear arrangements or larger three-dimensional compositions, expressing Verstuyft’s pursuit of functional simplicity, technical precision and light with minimal structural presence.
