Designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin as a table for both work and dining, it integrates optional power access with unusual discretion, balancing technical performance with visual restraint and material warmth.

Conceived as a new typology for Mattiazzi, the Fronda collection explores an unusual inversion of materials—wood for structure and metal for seating—while balancing practicality, visual restraint and exceptional craftsmanship.

Mattiazzi

Founded in 1979 by brothers Nevio and Fabiano Mattiazzi in San Giovanni al Natisone, within Italy’s historic chair-making region of Friuli, Mattiazzi began as a specialist woodworking workshop producing highly complex timber components and furniture for other manufacturers before evolving into an independent design brand.
