Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Filo Chair combines a solid beech frame with a finely woven rope seat and backrest, creating a lightweight yet highly durable form defined by its linear rhythm and visual transparency. Developed as an exploration of tension, structure and craft, the chair balances the warmth of wood with the flexibility of woven cord, offering comfort through material intelligence while expressing the Bouroullecs’ interest in reducing furniture to its essential components.
