ABOUT THE BRAND
Jeongwha Seo
The Material Container Stool 300 by Jeongwha Seo takes the form of a low, conical base surmounted by a flat, disc-like container that sits slightly proud, functioning as a seat while articulating a clear structural hierarchy. It combines two contrasting materials—drawn from a system of stone, wood, metal, woven rush, and acrylic—so that an outer material encloses an inner insert, as seen in this pairing of Acrylic & Cast Aluminium.

Conceived as part of the Material Container series, the stool investigates the tactile and visual qualities of locally grounded materials, examining how differing textures, densities, and finishes coexist and reinforce one another through careful material selection.
